Year Six have this week been coming up with ideas for a product, then creating fantastic posters in order to persuade and encourage people to buy their goods. Have a look at these two:
Well done to these children who received 100% in their spelling test!
As part of our science topic, we have looked today at how Stilton Cheese is made by adding micro organisms and allowing mound to grow. We tasted some Stilton, and we were very shocked that some people actually enjoy the flavour!
Year six, along with the rest of KS2, travelled into the city centre today to see a very special pantomime at The Epstein Theatre…Peter Pan! It was a wonderful experience and we certainly had fun!
Well done to these year six pupils who today received a free prize, courtesy of School, for all their hard work in Home Reading! They were able to select a book/gift from The Book Bus. Enjoy your prizes and keep up the hard work!
On Monday, Year Six took part in a drama workshop, hosted by students from LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts). We were educated about some of Shakespeare’s many plays and their characters. We learnt that Shakespeare inspired lots of words that appear today in the English language. We were even treated to monologue and duologue performances from the students themselves.
Reverend June and Reverend Crystel from St. Mary’s Church joined us today for a very special Christingle service.
